Product Overview

The E319 Electric Baler is a compact, heavy-duty baler designed to deliver strong performance without relying on hydraulic systems. Its quiet, electric operation makes it particularly suitable for locations where noise and space constraints must be carefully managed.

Driven by an electro-mechanical spindle system, the E319 provides up to 15 tonnes of compaction force, allowing it to compress cardboard, plastic and similar materials efficiently and consistently. The machine is equipped with an advanced control interface that enables operators to initiate the baling process easily. Once engaged, the constant-pressure function holds the pressing plate securely in position, continuing to compact the load without drawing additional power.

With a total height of under two metres, the E319 is purpose-built for low-ceiling environments where larger balers cannot be installed. Its combination of reduced height, low noise output and fully electric functionality makes it an excellent choice for facilities that lack access to compressed air.

The unit’s pressing system uses a unique, self-lubricating worm-drive mechanism to apply continuous force – up to 15 tonnes – ensuring reliable, stable compaction throughout the baling cycle.

How does a baler work?

Q&A

Why is the E319 suitable for marine and offshore environments?
The E319 is designed for demanding operational conditions where reliability, safety and space efficiency are critical. Its electric drive ensures stable performance, while the robust construction makes it suitable for continuous use onboard ships and offshore installations.

What types of waste can the E319 handle onboard?
The E319 is ideal for compacting cardboard, plastic film and other recyclable packaging materials commonly generated from catering, logistics, maintenance and supply operations in marine and offshore environments.

What operational advantages does an electric baler offer offshore?
An electric baler like the E319 provides quiet, emission-free operation and consistent compaction performance. This makes it particularly suitable for enclosed spaces and environmentally regulated offshore environments.

COMMERCIAL SHIPS

On commercial ships, waste handling must function reliably under constant operation and varying maritime conditions. The E319 Electric Baler is developed for this reality, delivering effective compaction of cardboard and plastic to support daily recycling routines on board.

The machine combines a space-saving design with solid performance, making it suitable for installation in restricted areas typically found on vessels. Its strong compaction capability and user-friendly loading area allow crew members to process larger amounts of recyclable material in a controlled manner, helping maintain order and safety on board regardless of sea state or workload.

OFFSHORE

Offshore installations and service vessels operate under strict requirements for space utilisation, operational safety and environmental control. The E319 Electric Baler is designed to support these conditions by efficiently compressing cardboard, plastic and other recyclable waste into solid bales, helping to minimise onboard storage needs.

Built for demanding environments, the E319 combines high compaction performance with a design that fits into limited or technically challenging areas offshore. Its electrically driven operation ensures stable and consistent performance, even where vibration and continuous use are part of everyday operations. This makes the E319 a reliable choice for keeping waste handling areas organised and recycling processes running smoothly in offshore settings.

CRUISE SHIPS

Although cruise ships are designed for comfort and smooth operations, waste management remains a continuous challenge due to constant movement and high volumes of daily refuse. Packaging from restaurants, housekeeping, retail areas and guest services quickly adds up over the course of a voyage.

The E319 Electric Baler is well suited to these conditions, offering reliable and efficient compaction of cardboard and plastic as part of the ship’s daily waste routines. With its higher capacity and strong compaction force, the E319 allows crew to process larger quantities of recyclable materials, reducing the need for frequent handling and storage of loose waste. Its practical design and stable electric operation make it easy to integrate into onboard waste areas, supporting a clean, organised environment throughout long cruises.
